What are the sport specific Ultimates?
Hockey
Wield the legendary Stanley Cup and harness its icy energy. Skate near opponents to freeze them and shatter frozen opponents with a powerful finishing move.
Basketball
Harness a basketball of fire to burn a Three-Point line into the rink. Shots made from outside the Three-Point line are worth 3 points. Shots made from inside the Three-Point line are worth 2 points.
Soccer
Manifest five levitating soccer balls. Unleash a tremendous kick, launching the soccer balls in all directions. Soccer balls KO opponents.
Baseball
Channel 6 energy baseballs and hurl them with extreme force, stunning the opposing Goalie or KO-ing any opponent that is in the way.
Football
Charge towards the nearest opponent with shocking speed, KO-ing any opponent along the way.

I installed the game and it will not open, what do I do?
Depending on the type of device you have you may need to do something called a “forced restart” with your device.
If you are playing on an iPhone of iPad that has a Home button at the bottom of the screen. This can be done by holding the Home button and the Power button down at the same time until the screen turns off. Keep holding the buttons down until you see the Apple logo.
Once the device turns back on, open the app again, you should see your newly unlocked characters.
If you have an iPhone X or a newer device that does not have a Home button you can force restart your device by pressing the volume up button, then releasing it, then pressing the volume down button and releasing it, followed by holding the Power button for a long time until the screen turns off and the Apple logo appears. Once you see the Apple logo you can release the power button and open the game to see if this has fixed the issue.

How much space do I need on my device to download Ultimate Rivals: The Rink?
Whether you are on an iPhone or Apple TV you will need to have approximately 2.3 GB of free space to download, install and play our current release. On Mac you will need just over 6 GB of free space. We recommend downloading over WiFi and save your cellular data when possible.
What devices can I play Ultimate Rivals: The Rink on?
Apple Arcade games will work on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Macs. The games are supported by Made for iPhone game controllers along with PS4 and bluetooth enabled Xbox controllers*. Apple has built bluetooth enabled controller support into tvOS 13, iOS 13, and iPadOS 13.
Apple TV remotes are not supported.
With so many compatible devices you can download the game on another device, log in to Game Center and continue playing with all the featured athletes you unlocked while playing on a different device!

Do I have to pay to play Ultimate Rivals: The Rink?
Currently, there is a free one-month trial for Apple Arcade on all compatible Apple devices. There are no extra fees to play the game with any type of subscription to Apple Arcade.
Where can I play Ultimate Rivals?
Ultimate Rivals is available for download exclusively on Apple Arcade, a game subscription service with 100+ groundbreaking new games.
How can I tell who my players are?
Your team members will always be shown in the athlete’s specific team uniform. The other team will be shown in a red hue/glow around the individual character's to differentiate both sides.
Can I change the color of my jersey?
No, each featured athlete is outfitted in their current team uniform.
I played a match but did not unlock a character!
The character unlock system in Ultimate Rivals is based off each match you complete, win or lose, and if we have the ability to collect your consented data. If you do not consent to data collection by Bit Fry Game Studios, Inc. or accept our EULA, character unlocks WILL NOT be tailored to your online Ultimate Rivals account. However, if you change your mind and do accept consent later, you will have the ability to begin saving your character unlocks. This will reset your unlock-able character collection over again, regardless of the athletes you may have previously unlocked. Any issues beyond this can be submitted to our support team via email at support@bitfry.com.
Where did all my characters go?!
The character unlock system in Ultimate Rivals is based off each match you finish (not win) and if we have the ability to collect your consented data. If you do not consent to data collection to Bit Fry Games or accept our EULA, character unlocks WILL NOT be tailored to your online Ultimate Rivals account. However, if you change your mind and do accept consent later, you will have be able to start saving your character unlocks. This will reset your available athletes and you will begin to unlock your players as you initially did when you first began playing. Any issues beyond this can be submitted to our support team at support@bitfry.com.
Why can’t I play online?
Ultimate Rivals requires both your consent as a player and an active Game Center account provided through an individual Apple ID. Both are required to play online matches in Ultimate Rivals as well as a stable internet connection. If you cannot play even though both of these requirements are fulfilled, please reach out to support@bitfry.com so that we can provide individual support as needed.
Will my unlocked characters in The Rink carry over to The Court?
Absolutely! All your unlocked athletes in Ultimate Rivals: The Rink will be available in Ultimate Rivals: The Court as you unlock them in either game. As long as you are signed into the proper Game Center account for both games, it will all players will "cross-over".
